The town of Dallas needs to strive for positive growth. We need to promote controlled growth utilizing conditional use zoning. Dallas needs growth that it will be proud of 25 years from now.

2. There seems to be a lot of trees being cleared off, what do town officials plan on doing about helping the environment as the trees continue to be cut down?

Our environment should be a priority. The Dallas planning board has enacted and ordinance that requires developers to plant trees and vegetation on developing properties.

3. How do city officials plan to ensure we have adequate fire protection i.e. enough firefighters and annexes to assess fires?

Dallas has updated equipment and we are also in the process of building a new fire station with room for expansion. Dallas is also a member of Gastonia's Firefighter's Association, having a mutual agreement for help from fellow departments.
