1. Should Ranlo consider allowing a public vote on alcohol sales again?

The Ranlo Town Commission should let the people decide on the alcohol sales. The citizens of Ranlo have the right to vote on what they think is right and wrong for their town. I believe there are many great Christian people in the town that would vote against alcohol sales.

2. What can Ranlo do to lower water/sewer rates?

Ranlo can first explore the expensive and timely option of building a new water treatment facility. We can also look at partnering with local municipalities to become a larger water and sewer provider instead of buying the water directly. This would allow Ranlo to still have the ablility to control the water and sewer rates. I have seen firsthand how effecient regional water and sewer providers can operate.

3. What can be done to lower the unemployment rate in Ranlo?

I have observed some of the old mills in Ranlo opening up with new industries. That will help provide some jobs for the citizens. Ranlo should offer incentives to help attract larger industries and more small businesses. Small businesses are an important key to economic development.
