1. How do you expect to handle growth in Mount Holly?

By being more selective about the developers we let come into our city. Also by sitting down and planning for future growth and saying no if it does not fit our plan.

2. Do you worry about crime in Mount Holly?

Yes, but I think we all worry about crime. I want Mount Holly to be safe just like everywhere else. I also think we have a wonderful Police Department and I want to make sure that they have everything they need in order to fight crime.

3. What can the city do to help the downtown area continue to grow?

I think the city’s part in this will be to hire an economic development person to work on nothing but recruiting business to come to Mount Holly. To know what our city has to offer as far as building space.
