The Mount Holly Community Development Foundation, City Council and city staff will have to work in concert to control growth. Streamlining procedures and regulations should produce quality results. Public participation will be key regarding this issue.

2. Do you worry about crime in Mount Holly?

We have a capable well-staffed Police Department that serves our citizens in a satisfactory manner. If elected, I would continuously evaluate the needs of our Police Department so they can function properly.

3. What can the city do to help the downtown area continue to grow?

The city infrastructure has to be adequate to allow growth. Currently congested streets, water pressure and wastewater facilities will challenge our city government. These issues once addressed and resolved will facilitate the necessary growth we’re expecting.
