We, the Citizens of Stanley, have made our decision. We are proud to take a stand against the sale of alcohol in our town. It is counter-productive to maintaining a family friendly community.

2. What can Stanley do to attract business/industry?

Setup a Task Force that is proactive in searching for businesses interested in relocating to this area. Work closely with Donnie Hicks, Chairman of the Gaston County Economic Development Committee, who recruits new businesses.

3. How can Stanley keep young people engaged and keep them from moving away?

Create a place they want to come back to and raise their families. Create more seasonal events the whole town can participate in. Further improve recreational facilities for Youth. Bring in quality neighborhoods and businesses.
