1. What do city officials plan to do about the water situation?

We plan to continue water conservation and seek new water sources.

2. What do city officials plan to do about overpopulation in the schools?

I plan to support the school bond issue and to press state leaders to provide more support. We need to push for new solutions. One idea is to seek support from developers; have developers build new schools and lease them back to the school districts.

Continuation of study of consolidating county wide

services.

3. What do you think are the main issues in Bessemer City?

Bringing in new industry, economic develope, creating new jobs that pay livable wages.

Creating partnerships in education, keeping our kids

in school. A good example is the Gear Up Program.
