1. What sets you apart from your opponents in this election?

I have experience on the council and planning board. I am a person who is proactive and offers new ideas, not just waiting to react. I also persevere to see a project through until completed.

2. What are the two most important issues in Belmont and how do you plan to address them?

Managing growth and jobs for our citizens. I’ll support Mayor Boyce’s land use plan and ask the county to give us zoning authority over the rest of the peninsula. I’ll support incentives for new businesses.

3. Is Belmont growing too slowly, too quickly, or at just the right pace? Why?

It is certainly growing too rapidly in many citizens’ opinion. The main reasons are the opening of the western leg of I-485 and the large number of people seeking our quality of life in Belmont.
