1. Should Ranlo consider allowing a public vote on alcohol sales?
At the last public hearing on this subject several citizens, representing a cross representation of the people, appeared and voiced strong opposition to alcohol in the town. There was not one supporter. There seems to be no need at this time.
2. What can Ranlo do to lower water/sewer rates?
The quickest route to lower rates is to eliminate the debt in this department. Next negotiations may help. Finally we can support long term consolidation of countywide water/sewer facilities.
3. What can Ranlo do to lower the unemployment rate in town?
We have had some recovery of industry in the town. We should do all we can to strengthen these as well as look to attract other businesses.
