1. What do city officials plan to do about the water situation?

Presently our City officials are exploring any and all options. Bessemer City is fortunate to have had the foresight in many years past to interconnect with both adjacent water systems, for treated water supplies for this and other special need circumstances.

2. What do city officials plan to do about overpopulation in the schools?

Gaston County Schools have this condition system wide, we should be involved with the planning and give input as to what we see in our growth that will impact the need for more classroom seats.

3. What do you think are the main issues in Bessemer City?

Planning for meeting growth that is coming to the western part of Gaston County. Continue to be involved with recruitment of new industry, to increase our tax base, and provide jobs for the residents of our communities.
