1. What sets you apart from your opponent in this election?
My work history was setting larger budgets, managing larger budgets and people than all three of these responsibilities in our city. I cannot only identify problems but implement solutions. I am a pro-active person.
2. What are the two most important issues in Cherryville and how do you plan to address them?
Replacement of old water and sewer pipes. This year’s budget was increased from $55,000 to $118,000 to replace old pipes. We also established a $250,000 contingency fund and are applying for grants for additional funding.
3. How would your leadership help Cherryville to prosper over the next term?
We are bringing in much more new construction which will produce additional taxes, and we are also bringing in new retail which will produce more sales tax.
